Catalyst Fund I
The Catalyst Fund L.P. (Catalyst I, vintage 2000) was a top performer among Israeli funds, with 6 exits out of 11 portfolio companies through IPOs and M&A. The Fund focused on technology companies and had a diversified portfolio, including companies from the telecom, information technology, medical devices, and biotechnology sectors.
Catalyst Fund II
The Catalyst Private Equity Partners Fund L.P. (Catalyst II, vintage 2007), invested in mature Israeli companies expanding internationally across a wide variety of sectors. The Fund invested in 12 portfolio companies and is currently in process of divesting, with five fully realized investments and four partial exits already. Among its portfolio companies are Mobileye, Tufin, harmon.ie and Dori Media.
Catalyst CEL Fund
The Catalyst CEL Fund primarily targets mid-to-late stage companies with proven innovation and global presence, whose growth strategy is oriented towards expansion of activities into emerging markets. In order to support the growth of Israeli companies in Greater China, Catalyst has established a partnership with China Everbright Limited (CEL, 165.HK) which is part of the GP of the Catalyst CEL Fund. The fund focuses on a variety of sectors. The Fund had its first closing in March 2014 and reached its final closing in December 2015 with $200M in commitments. The fund has completed four successful invesmtents into Lamina Technologies, X-Jet Ltd., SatixFy and Taboola.
