Catalyst CEL Fund
The Catalyst CEL Israel-China Fund primarily targets mid-to-late-stage companies with proven innovation and a growth strategy oriented towards expansion into emerging markets. The Fund was established in partnership with China Everbright Limited (165:HK), and this strategic cooperation allows the Fund to support the growth of Israeli companies in Greater China.
The Fund had its first closing in March 2014 and reached its final closing in December 2015 with $151M in committed capital. To date the Fund has made investments into 8 portfolio companies – Lamina Technologies, X-Jet, SatixFy, Taboola, Eloxx, Arbe Robotics, Raziel Therapeutics, and Lutris Pharma: 4 out of 8 of the portfolio companies went public in the US.
Catalyst Fund IV
The Catalyst IV Fund L.P. invests in mid-to-late-stage Israeli-related companies with proven innovative technologies and processes. The Fund will make both primary investments and direct secondary transactions, purchasing positions from existing shareholders seeking liquidity.
Catalyst IV will focus on investments in mature companies that are raising the last round of funding before exit and are category leaders in various technology sectors including: enterprise SaaS, cybersecurity, smart mobility, fintech, Agri Tech, Food Tech, energy, life sciences, and others.
Additionally, Catalyst IV offers co-investment opportunities as an integral part of its strategy, providing LPs unique access to deal flow and the ability to become direct shareholders in portfolio companies.
