Catalyst Fund I
The Catalyst Fund L.P. (Catalyst I, vintage 2000) was a top performer among Israeli funds, with 6 exits out of 11 portfolio companies. The Fund invested in technology companies and had a diversified portfolio, including companies from the telecom, information technology, medical devices, and biotechnology sectors.
Catalyst Fund II
The Catalyst Private Equity Partners Fund L.P. (Catalyst II, vintage 2007), invested in mature, internationally expanding Israeli companies in diverse sectors. The Fund invested in 12 portfolio companies, including two major market leaders in their fields, Mobileye and Tufin (NYSE:TUFN).
Catalyst CEL Fund
The Catalyst CEL Israel-China Fund primarily targets mid-to-late stage companies with proven innovation and a growth strategy oriented towards expansion of activities into emerging markets. The Fund was established in partnership with China Everbright Limited (165:HK), and is jointly managed. The strategic cooperation between Catalyst and China Everbright allows the Fund to support growth of Israeli companies in Greater China. The Fund had its first closing in March 2014 and reached its final closing in December 2015 with $200M in commitments. To date the Fund has made investments into 6 portfolio companies – Lamina Technologies, X-Jet, SatixFy, Taboola, Eloxx(NASDAQ:ELOX) Arbe Robotics, Raziel Therapeutics and Lutris Pharma.
