Rodrigo was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He holds a B.A. in Industrial Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico and a M.A. in Financial Economics from Reichman University (IDC Herzliya) in Israel.

After completing his M.A. in Israel, he joined the investment department at Catalyst Private Equity, where he was actively involved in the due diligence and financial analysis of a variety of companies in the deal flow. His areas of interest are corporate finance, accounting, valuation, strategy, and financial modeling. Rodrigo has acquired experience in programming with a focus on financial applications by taking part in courses at institutions such as the NYU School of Professional Studies and Reichman University.
