Ruben Goldberg

Ruben founded Goldberg, Alerhand & Associates in 2003, together with David Alerhand. From 1999 to 2003, Ruben was CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board of Republic National Bank (México).
After Republic National Bank was acquired by HSBC, Ruben continued as the Vice Chairman and CEO for Investment Banking. From 1984 to 1998, he was the representative in México and a non-executive member of the board of NM Rothschild & Sons Ltd. (London) and the Head and President of NM Rothschild & Sons (México). During the period 1981 to 1984, he served as Vice President, Area Head, and Representative of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. (México). Prior to that, from 1974 to 1981, Ruben held various positions in the Corporate Banking division of Bank of America (México).
Ruben currently serves as a board member in various private sector companies, financial entities and philanthropic institutions. Ruben graduated summa cum laude from the National University of México with a Public Accountant Degree and holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (Fulbright-Hayes Scholar).
