Social Responsibility
Mr. Cukierman is a board member of “Alliance Israelite Universelle en Israel” and a board member of Sar-El (Association that brings volunteers from across the world to the IDF in Israel).
Mr. Yair Shamir served as the Chairman of Gvahim (from 2006 to 2013), a non-profit organization which assists qualified new immigrants from around the world in realizing their professional aspirations in Israel. He was also the Board Member of Mikveh Israel from 2010 until 2013.
Apart from Gvahim, Yair serves as a chairman of the Board of Shalem Collage – it is an institution of research and education in Jerusalem, that became a College of Humanities Studies, that seeks to expose students to a variety of areas, teach them creative and critical thinking and prepare them to influence and lead the company.
Yair also serves as the Chairman of Assembly of Ohalo College in Katzrin – Academic Institute for Education, Sciences and Sports. It is a leading institution that shapes a new generation of high quality teachers who will become a “spearhead” of relevant, future-oriented and value-committed teaching in Israel.
Cukierman & Co. Investment House has a strong and mutually enriching relationship with Noah Initiative, a non-profit organization which aims to mitigate Israel’s young adult economic crisis, focusing on housing prices and cost of living, while helping to strengthen peripheral cities in Israel.
